Hi, I'm Ahmed

I am a filmmaker, creative writer, digital video expert and digital media project manager based in The UK. I wrote, directed, and produced many documentaries, short films, and music videos and co-founded various leading Arab digital media channels such as AJ+ Arabic, Ana Al Araby and Qabila TV. I received a BA in Mass Communication (Radio and TV) from Cairo University in 2010. My graduation project documentary short film El-Mamlaka was named Best Foreign-Language Film at Hollywood's International Student Film Festival in 2011. Since 2009, I have been commissioned by Al Jazeera to produce several documentaries. My work focuses on the MENA region, covering diverse genres, including docudrama, social news videos, digital shows and web documentaries.
